This is a specialized set of TIG welding accessories dedicated to working on exhaust systems and manifolds. The heart of the kit is the large-scale PROCUP nozzles, which allow for welds of the highest visual and metallurgical quality.

The kit must be matched to the thickness of the tungsten electrode you intend to use. Please select the appropriate diameter using the slider/option in the offer:

• Choice: 1.6 mm – Most commonly chosen for precision work on exhaust systems (thin-walled pipes).

• Choice: 3.2 mm – Chosen for thicker components, flanges, and heavy-duty high-current welding.

By default, the TIGBOX is equipped with 2.4mm parts.

Practical tip for exhaust welding:

When using nozzles from this kit, remember about back purging (introducing argon inside the pipe). Even the best PROCUP nozzle on the outside will not protect the inside of the pipe from (oxidation) if you do not use plugs and shielding gas from the inside.

The Tigbox Exhaust kit with large nozzles allows for a stable arc but requires a precise approach to amperage.

Parameters for stainless steel (1.5 mm - 2.0 mm wall)

This is the standard thickness for exhaust pipes and manifolds.

The Tigbox Exhaust itself provides perfect external weld shielding. However, in professional exhaust system construction, to avoid the so-called "sugaring" (oxidation of the steel inside the pipe), you must ensure proper back purging.

Tigbox Exhaust Kit Contents

The kit has been configured to provide maximum gas shielding during pipe welding. Inside the package, you will find:

• 2x PROCUP nozzles:

  • Size #14: For precision welds in slightly harder-to-reach places.

  • Size #16 glass: Super-wide nozzle providing powerful gas shielding (ideal for achieving rainbow colors on stainless steel).

• Diffuser screen set (Laminar Flow):

  • Special stainless steel meshes that are mounted inside the nozzles. Their task is to perfectly straighten the argon stream.

• Collet:

  • Matched to the electrode diameter selected with the slider during ordering.

• Gas Lens:

  • Large body brass component that holds the collet and allows for the installation of large PROCUP nozzles on SR17/18/26 torches.

• Back cap set:

  • The set typically includes three lengths (short, medium, long), allowing for work in tight spaces.

    Important: The color of the back caps (e.g., black, white) is randomly selected.

• Teflon Insulator:

  • Special gasket mounted on the large torch body, ensuring tightness and stable seating of the large nozzles.
