Tig 220 ac dc Spartus
Description

High-tech TIG AC/DC Pulse Welder
SPARTUS ProTIG 220P AC/DC is a modern TIG AC/DC and MMA AC/DC inverter welder designed for welders who expect perfect weld quality in aluminum, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, and special alloys. It combines mobility – weighing only 10.5 kg – with extensive parameter adjustment capabilities, making it an ideal tool for both industrial production and field service or assembly work.

VIDEO PRESENTATION OF SPARTUS PROTIG 220 AC DC:
STAINLESS STEEL PIPE WELDING:
SPARTUS PROTIG 220 AC DC is a digitally controlled inverter welder, constructed based on IGBT transistors. It enables welding using TIG AC/DC and MMA AC/DC methods. It is powered by a single-phase 230V network. The PROTIG 220P AC DC allows for arc ignition in two methods: TIG HF (thanks to high frequency) and TIG Lift (by friction). In both TIG and MMA methods, the device can weld with a current of 200A. The pulse function allows for joining very thin materials in aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and many other materials. The welder has an intuitive control panel that ensures quick navigation through functions. For the respective welding methods, the welding current adjustment range is: 5-200A (AC) and 5-200A (DC). It enables TIG Pulse welding, making it an ideal device for welding stainless and acid-resistant steels. The TIG AC alternating current welding mode, with selectable AC waveforms, balance, and welding current frequency, allows for joining even the most demanding aluminum alloys.
The device features high efficiency:
- 60% at an ambient temperature of 25°C
- 40% at an ambient temperature of 40°C
The manufacturer provides efficiency values under the most extreme conditions and high ambient temperatures.

IGBT TRANSISTORS offer a stronger, more concentrated, and stable arc while consuming less energy.
200A WELDING CURRENT enables welding materials up to 10 mm thick.
AC DC versatile application thanks to the possibility of welding with direct and alternating current.
SIMPLE PANEL – every adjustable function is backlit. An ideal solution for beginner users.
2T-4T welding modes that facilitate work on short and long welding sections. 2T mode is used for welding short sections because the arc extinguishes after releasing the microswitch; in 4T mode, you do not have to hold the microswitch continuously during welding, but only click a second time for the arc to extinguish automatically.
PRE-GAS enables faster arc ignition at the start on both low and high welding current values. An essential function for spot joining thin and thick elements. Pre-gas flow time is adjustable from 0-2 s.
POST-GAS allows for faster cooling of the joint and the tungsten electrode. Post-gas flow time is adjustable from 0-10 s.
PULSE gives the possibility of welding very thin materials made of aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. The minimum pulse current is 5 A. Pulse adjustment range from 0.5 - 250Hz.
AC FREQUENCY adjustable in the range of 50-250Hz. This function is responsible for narrowing the arc and faster penetration of the welded material.
AC WAVEFORMS selectable from the control panel are responsible for changing the alternating current characteristics. The principle of operation and waveform selection is presented in the video above. Selecting the AC waveform allows for quick setup of the welder for welding: thick and thin materials.
PRESENTATION OF PULSE FUNCTION OPERATION:
DINSE STANDARD allows for the use of various interchangeable TIG torches. Torches up to 24 m long can be used with the device.
AC BALANCE – a wide range of 10-99 is responsible for the cleanliness of welds in aluminum welding. The function controls the amount of heat input into the material and the cleaning of oxides on the aluminum surface.
MULTI CONTROL – the device can be used with UP&DOWN adjustment torches and foot controls with smooth welding current regulation. Foot control can be wired or wireless.
HOT START consists of a temporary increase in the welding current at the moment of arc ignition. This prevents the electrode from sticking in the initial phase of welding. The function enables faster arc ignition with rutile and basic electrodes.
ARC FORCE dynamics shorten the arc length while increasing the welding current, which prevents the arc from extinguishing when the electrode touches the welded material. The function facilitates learning MMA welding.
TIG LIFT enables steel welding in places where HF welding is impossible.
