Introducing the SPARTUS TIG 208P AC DC welding set, a comprehensive kit for welding stainless steel, duplex, titanium, and aluminum exhaust systems. This set comes with carefully selected accessories and a TIG CUSTOM SLIM GRIP 17 holder, enabling comfortable and extended work sessions. The TIG welding torch features an SR17 torch body that can weld with a maximum current of 180A in a 60% cycle and 200A in a 40% cycle, allowing for the welding of thicker pipes and sheets.

The SPARTUS TIG 208P AC DC is a digitally controlled inverter welder based on IGBT transistors. It enables welding using the TIG AC 200A - TIG DC 170A and MMA AC/DC methods with a current of 170A, powered from a single-phase 230V network. TIG 208P AC DC also enables advanced TIG AC and TIG DC welding with a choice of arc ignition method: TIG HF (by radio frequency) and TIG Lift (by friction). The pulse function allows for the joining of very thin materials in aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and many other materials. The intuitive control panel provides quick navigation through the functions, making it easy to use even for beginners.

The device has high efficiency:

• 60% at an ambient temperature of 25° C
• 35% at an ambient temperature of 40° C

TIG 17 - 4m D version is a universal welding handle supplied with the welder.  The 40% efficiency wire allows welding alumnium and stainless steel. The torch body allows comfortable welding with 180AC DC current.

2T-4T are welding modes that make it easier to work on short and long welding distances. The 2T mode is used for welding short distances, as the arc is switched off after disconnecting the micro switch. In 4T mode, we do not have to hold the micro switch constantly while welding, but only click a second time to turn off the arc automatically.

PRE-GAS allows faster arc ignition at the start, both at low and high values of welding current. An indispensable function for point joining of thin and thick elements. Gas flow time is adjustable from 0-2 sec.

POST-GAS allows faster cooling of the connection and the tungsten electrode. The gas flow time is adjustable from 0.1-10 sec.

AC BALANCE wide range of 10-99 is responsible for the cleanliness of welds in aluminum welding. The function is responsible for the heat input into the material and the cleaning of oxides on the aluminum surface.

MULTI-CONTROL in the device we can use handles with UP&DOWN adjustment and foot control with smooth regulation of the welding current. The foot control can be wired or wireless.
