Spartus Mig 217 Dual Pulse
Description

3-IN-1 INVERTER WELDER SPARTUS EASY MIG 217 LCD DUAL PULSE - SEMI-AUTOMATIC WITH SYNERGY AND MANUAL MODE
SPARTUS MIG 217 LCD DUAL PULSE is a modern, inverter-based semi-automatic welding machine built on IGBT transistors. It features MIG/MAG welding in inert and active gas shielding, MMA coated electrode welding, and TIG Lift welding with scratch arc ignition. The device can be used to join materials such as: carbon steel, stainless steel, magnesium alloys, aluminum, nickel, as well as copper and its alloys. The device can perform short-circuit or pulsed braze welding of car body sheets. After setting the welding current below 40A in the pulse function, the device switches to a special pulse for welding thin materials called COOL PULSE. It is currently the only such MIG/MAG welder with single and double pulse on the market that offers such a low pulse current of 30A and cold pulse functions in the 30-40A welding current range. Thanks to its high output parameters, the SPARTUS MIG 217 LCD DUAL PULSE has no problem obtaining a flat weld bead on thick materials compared to competing devices.

Easy polarity reversal enables welding with self-shielding wire without gas. The maximum welding current for MIG-MAG-TIG-MMA methods is 200A. The device is powered from a single-phase 230V network. In SP MANUAL welding mode, we can adjust the voltage and wire feed to our own needs. SPARTUS MIG 217 LCD DUAL PULSE is equipped with a synergic system for MIG-MAG welding:
Short-circuit arc welding:
- carbon steel with 0.6-0.8-1.0 wires
- stainless steel with 0.8 wire
- aluminum with 1.0 wire
- flux-cored wire 1.0
- self-shielding wire without gas 0.9
- CUSI-CUSN wire - 0.8
with the possibility of manual parameter correction.
Single pulse welding:
- carbon steel with 0.8 wire
- stainless steel with 0.8 wire
- aluminum ALSI-ALMG with 1.0-1.2 wire

ADVANTAGES OF THE SPARTUS EASY MIG 217 LCD Dual Puls:
POWERFUL WIRE FEEDER enables the use of welding torches up to 4 m in length.
IGBT TRANSISTORS offer a stronger, more concentrated and stable arc with lower energy consumption.
200A WELDING CURRENT enables welding materials up to 8 mm.
SINGLE PULSE - enables welding that minimizes material deformation as a result of introducing a lower temperature into the welded material. Sheets do not deform and it is easier to weld more demanding materials. Single pulse also reduces the amount of spatter and provides much better aesthetics of the weld bead. Welding with pulse saves time because there is no need to process the weld or clean the material from stuck spatters.
COOL PULSE - the function turns on automatically in the welding current range of 30-40A. The welding current characteristic in pulse changes completely, which enables welding of thin materials. The function facilitates welding of very thin materials made of carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
DOUBLE PULSE - enables welding that minimizes material deformation to a minimum by introducing a lower temperature into the welded material than in the case of a single pulse. Regulation is extremely simple and intuitive, which is a great advantage. We set the ratio of the upper to lower current value as a percentage. We regulate the duration of the upper current relative to the lower one and vice versa. This is the simplest way to set parameters that any welder, both amateur and professional, can handle. Thanks to this function, we are able to easily obtain the fish-scale effect as in the TIG method. The function enables the execution of a perfect bead on carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
LCD DISPLAY which graphically indicates the adjustable parameters. An ideal solution for beginner users.

2T-4T are welding modes facilitating work on short and long welding sections. 2T mode is used for welding short sections because after disconnecting the microswitch, the arc extinguishes immediately; in 4T mode we do not have to hold the microswitch constantly during welding, but only click a second time for the arc to extinguish automatically.
PRE-GAS enables faster arc ignition at the start on both low and high welding current values. An essential function for spot tacking of thin and thick elements. Pre-gas flow time adjustable from 0-2 s
SLOW START slow feeder start is responsible for the low speed of the wire reaching the welded material, so there is no wire bounce effect before starting welding. Essential function for spot tacking of sheets, e.g. BRAZE WELDING
SYNERGIC PROGRAMS the semi-automatic machine has built-in welding programs, making welding demanding materials much easier. We choose the appropriate program and can start work. Welding voltage and wire feed regulation is done using one knob. We also have the possibility to make corrections to welding parameters. Voltage correction graphically shows what the weld bead will look like. The weld will be convex or flat depending on the settings.
MANUAL MODE (SP) the function is responsible for manual settings. We can regulate the welding current voltage and wire feed separately.
INDUCTANCE adjustable, which is responsible for the amount of heat introduced into the material. Additionally, the regulation affects the width of the weld bead and the depth of penetration into the material. The function is mainly used for BRAZE WELDING with copper alloy wires. Copper alloy wires have a lower melting point, so we can use the semi-automatic for spot welding of car body sheets.
POLARITY CHANGE gives the possibility of welding with self-shielding wire without FLUX gas.
EURO SOCKET enables the use of various interchangeable MIG torches. We can use torches with a length of 4 m with the device.
HOT START consists of a temporary increase in the welding current at the moment of arc ignition. This prevents the electrode from sticking in the initial phase of welding. The function enables faster arc ignition with rutile and basic electrodes.
ARC FORCE dynamics shortens the arc length while increasing the welding current, which prevents the arc from extinguishing when the electrode touches the welded material. The function facilitates learning MMA welding.
VRD function turns off the power within milliseconds after welding is finished and reduces the voltage on the coated electrode to a safe level. Particularly useful function when welding in rooms or excavations with high humidity.
TIG LIFT enables welding of steel and stainless steel in argon shield.
