Spartus Mig 217 Dual Pulse alu inox #2
Description
3-IN-1 INVERTER WELDER SPARTUS EASY MIG 217 LCD DUAL PULSE - SEMI-AUTOMATIC WITH SYNERGY AND MANUAL MODE
SPARTUS MIG 217 LCD DUAL PULSE is a modern, inverter semi-automatic welding machine built on IGBT transistors. It features MIG/MAG welding (gas-shielded), MMA (stick) welding, and TIG Lift welding with friction arc ignition. The device can join materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, magnesium alloys, aluminum, nickel, as well as copper and its alloys. It is capable of short-circuit braze welding or pulsed braze welding for automotive body panels. When the welding current is set below 40A in pulse mode, the machine switches to a specialized COOL PULSE mode for thin materials. This is currently the only MIG/MAG welder with single and double pulse on the market offering such a low pulse current of 30A and a **cold pulse** function in the 30-40A range. Thanks to its high output parameters, the SPARTUS MIG 217 LCD DUAL PULSE easily achieves a flat weld bead on thick materials compared to competing devices.

Easy polarity reversal allows for gasless welding with self-shielding wire (FLUX). The maximum welding current for MIG-MAG-TIG-MMA methods is 200A. The device is powered by a single-phase 230V network. In SP MANUAL mode, you can adjust the voltage and wire feed speed to your specific needs. The SPARTUS MIG 217 LCD DUAL PULSE is equipped with a synergistic system for MIG-MAG welding:
Short-circuit arc welding:
- Carbon steel with 0.6-0.8-1.0 wires
- Stainless steel with 0.8 wire
- Aluminum with 1.0 wire
- Flux-cored wire 1.0
- Self-shielding gasless wire 0.9
- CUSI-CUSN wire - 0.8
...with the option for manual parameter correction.
Single Pulse Welding:
- Carbon steel with 0.8 wire
- Stainless steel with 0.8 wire
- Aluminum ALSI-ALMG with 1.0-1.2 wire

ADVANTAGES OF THE SPARTUS EASY MIG 217 LCD Dual Pulse:
POWERFUL WIRE FEEDER allows the use of welding torches up to 4 m in length.
IGBT TRANSISTORS offer a stronger, more concentrated, and stable arc while reducing energy consumption.
200A WELDING CURRENT enables welding of materials up to 8 mm thick.
SINGLE PULSE - enables welding that minimizes material deformation by introducing less heat into the workpiece. Sheets do not warp, and demanding materials are easier to weld. Single pulse also reduces spatter and significantly improves weld bead aesthetics. Welding with pulse saves time because there is no need for post-weld grinding or cleaning spatter.
COOL PULSE - this function activates automatically in the 30-40A current range. The pulse current characteristics change completely to enable the welding of ultra-thin materials. This function facilitates welding very thin sheets of carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
DOUBLE PULSE - provides welding that minimizes material deformation even more than single pulse. Adjustment is simple and intuitive. You set the percentage ratio of peak current to base current, and adjust the duration of the peak current relative to the base current. This is the simplest way to set parameters for both hobbyists and professionals. With this function, you can easily achieve the "fish scale" effect typical of the TIG method. It allows for a perfect weld face on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
LCD DISPLAY provides a graphic indication of the adjusted parameters. An ideal solution for beginner users.

2T-4T trigger modes facilitate work on short and long welding sections. 2T mode is for short sections (the arc extinguishes immediately when the switch is released), while 4T mode allows you to weld without constantly holding the switch; you click once to start and click again to extinguish the arc.
PRE-GAS enables faster arc ignition at the start for both low and high current values. Essential for tack-welding thin and thick elements. Pre-gas time is adjustable from 0-2 s.
SLOW START (Soft Start) controls the initial wire feed speed, ensuring a slow approach to the material to prevent "wire kick" at the start. Essential for tacking sheets, e.g., in BRAZE WELDING.
SYNERGIC PROGRAMS: The machine features built-in welding programs, making it much easier to weld demanding materials. Select the appropriate program and start working. Voltage and wire feed speed are adjusted with a single knob, with the option to manually fine-tune. The voltage correction graphically shows how the bead will look (convex or flat).
MANUAL MODE (SP): Allows for manual settings where you can adjust welding voltage and wire feed speed independently.
INDUCTANCE adjustment controls the amount of heat introduced into the material. It also affects the width of the weld face and the depth of penetration. This function is primarily used for BRAZE WELDING with copper alloy wires, which have lower melting points, allowing the welder to be used for spot-welding car body panels.
POLARITY REVERSAL enables welding with FLUX gasless self-shielding wire.
EURO SOCKET allows for the use of various interchangeable MIG torches up to 4 m long.
HOT START briefly increases the welding current during arc ignition to prevent the electrode from sticking. This facilitates faster ignition with rutile and basic electrodes.
ARC FORCE shortens the arc length while increasing current to prevent the arc from extinguishing when the electrode touches the material. This feature makes learning MMA welding much easier.
VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) reduces the open-circuit voltage to a safe level within milliseconds after welding ends. Especially useful in damp environments like basements or trenches.
TIG LIFT enables the welding of steel and stainless steel under argon shielding.
