Optrel E684 welding helmet
Description
OPTREL E684 Silver Welding Helmet
If you're a welder and demand the highest quality, then OPTREL is precisely tailored for you. This is a helmet designed for professional applications and every welding method:
- TIG Welding
- MIG/MAG Welding
- MMA Welding
It's one of the few helmets that offers a crystal-clear view using True Color technology, allowing us to see everything during welding without missing any details. Additionally, it features a quick-switch button between welding and grinding modes located on the side of the helmet visor. All adjustments are positioned on the external side of the helmet. The helmet includes functions like True Color, Autopilot, Grind mode, Twilight, and a minimum shading of 4 DIN, along with a lightweight design that enhances work comfort, weighing just 500g.

Smooth adjustment of the shading level between 4, 5-9, and 9-13 DIN, as well as the Autopilot function switch, is located on the external side of the mask. The Autopilot function automatically adjusts the filter to the light source, which is especially useful when working with different welding current values. There's no need to remove the mask to adjust the shading level as the filter adapts the appropriate values on its own.

The OPTREL E684 Helmet has a filter built to optical class 1.1.1.1, signifying the highest eye protection class and enabling comfortable work even with higher welding currents. The HD lens ensures a crystal-clear image and work comfort. The helmet also features an innovative UV and IR filter, resulting in realistic colors during welding and creating a sensation as if the helmet isn't on at all. The true color image is bright and lifelike.

The OPTREL E684 Helmet includes 3 sensors that react to light and a sensitivity adjustment function, making it extremely responsive to light hitting the filter. The Twilight function regulates the delay in brightening the filter after welding is complete, with a range of 0.1 to 2.0 seconds.
An innovative feature is the angle detection adjustment - 60° or 80° - which reduces the risk of unintended shading from other light sources. This operates by narrowing the light path to the filter. This feature is highly useful when working near others who could disrupt the filter's proper function with their work.
The helmet is powered by solar cells and two replaceable CR2032 batteries.
Another advantage is its incredibly light weight of just 500 grams, significantly improving work comfort during extended welding sessions. There's no discomfort in the neck, back, or shoulders, as sometimes experienced with other helmets.
