Mig 227 Dual Pulse
Description
INVERTER 3-in-1 WELDER SPARTUS EASY MIG 217 LCD DUAL PULSE - SEMI-AUTOMATIC WITH SYNERGY AND MANUAL MODE
SPARTUS MIG 217 LCD DUAL PULSE is a modern inverter semi-automatic welder, constructed based on IGBT transistors. It features gas shielded welding with neutral and active MIG/MAG gases, Manual Metal Arc Welding (MMA, SMAW), and TIG Lift welding with arc initiation by contact. The device can be used for welding materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, magnesium alloys, aluminum, nickel, copper, and its alloys. It is suitable for spot welding and pulse welding of car body panels. When the welding current is set below 40A in the pulse function, it switches to a special pulse mode for welding thin materials called COOL PULSE. Currently, it is the only MIG/MAG welder on the market offering both single and double pulses, with a low pulse current of 30A and cold pulse functions in the welding current range of 30-40A. The SPARTUS MIG 217 LCD DUAL PULSE device, thanks to its high output parameters, has no problem achieving a flat weld bead on thick materials compared to competing devices.

The easy polarity change allows for gasless self-shielded wire welding. The maximum welding current for MIG-MAG-TIG-MMA methods is 200A. The device is powered from a single-phase 230V power supply. In SP MANUAL welding mode, the voltage and wire feed speed can be adjusted according to individual needs. SPARTUS MIG 217 LCD DUAL PULSE is equipped with a synergic system for MIG-MAG welding:
Short circuit arc welding:
- Carbon steel with wire diameters of 0.6-0.8-1.0

Advantages of the SPARTUS EASY MIG 217 LCD Dual Pulse:
STRONG WIRE FEEDER allows the use of welding torches up to 4 meters in length.
IGBT TRANSISTORS provide a stronger, more focused, and stable arc while consuming less energy.
WELDING CURRENT of 200A enables welding of materials up to 8mm.
SINGLE PULSE minimizes material distortion by introducing lower temperatures into the welded material. It prevents deformation of the sheets and facilitates the welding of more demanding materials. The single pulse also reduces spatter and improves the aesthetics of the weld bead. With pulse welding, time is saved as there is no need to clean the material from adhered spatter or rework the weld.
COOL PULSE automatically activates within the welding current range of 30-40A. It significantly changes the welding current characteristics, making it suitable for welding thin materials. This function facilitates the welding of very thin carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
DUAL PULSE minimizes material distortion even further by introducing even lower temperatures into the welded material compared to the single pulse. The adjustment is incredibly simple and intuitive, which is a significant advantage. The ratio between the upper and lower current values can be set as a percentage. We can adjust the duration of the upper current relative to the lower current and vice versa. This is the easiest way to set parameters that both amateur and professional welders can handle. With this function, we can easily achieve a "stack of dimes" effect similar to the TIG welding method. This function allows for perfect weld bead formation on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
LCD DISPLAY graphically indicates the adjustable parameters, making it an ideal solution for beginners.

2T-4T MODES facilitate work on short and long welding sections. The 2T mode is used for short welding sections because the arc extinguishes immediately after releasing the micro switch. In the 4T mode, there is no need to continuously hold the micro switch during welding. It only needs to be clicked again to automatically extinguish the arc.
PRE-GAS allows for faster arc ignition at both low and high welding current values. This function is essential for spot welding thin and thick elements. The pre-gas flow time is adjustable from 0 to 2 seconds.
SLOW START ensures a slow wire feed speed, preventing wire bounce before the welding process starts. This function is necessary for spot welding thin sheets, such as in brazing.
SYNERGIC PROGRAMS: The semi-automatic device has built-in welding programs, making it much easier to weld demanding materials. We select the appropriate program and can start working. Voltage and wire feed speed are adjusted using a single dial. We also have the option to make adjustments to the welding parameters. The voltage correction is shown graphically, indicating the appearance of the weld bead. The bead can be convex or flat, depending on the settings.
MANUAL MODE (SP) allows for manual settings. We can independently adjust the welding current and wire feed speed.
ADJUSTABLE INDUCTANCE determines the amount of heat input into the material. Additionally, the adjustment affects the width of the weld bead and the depth of penetration into the material. This function is mainly used in brazing with copper alloy wires. Copper alloy wires have a lower melting temperature, allowing us to use the semi-automatic device for spot welding car body sheets.
POLARITY SWITCH provides the ability to weld with self-shielding flux-cored wire.
EURO SOCKET allows for the use of various interchangeable MIG torches. The device can accommodate torches up to 4 meters in length.
HOT START briefly increases the welding current at the moment of arc ignition. This prevents the electrode from sticking during the initial phase of welding. This function enables faster arc ignition with rutile and basic electrodes.
ARC FORCE dynamically shortens the arc length as the welding current increases, preventing the arc from extinguishing when the electrode contacts the welded material. This function facilitates the learning process of MMA welding.
VRD (VOLTAGE REDUCTION DEVICE) cuts off the power supply within milliseconds after welding is completed and reduces the voltage on the coated electrode to a safe level. This function is particularly useful when welding in humid environments or excavations.
TIG LIFT allows for welding carbon steel and stainless steel in argon shielding gas.
