EWM XQ 230 DC Puls is a professional kit assembled for welding industrial installations made of stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, duplex, and titanium. Carefully selected accessories and the TIG CUSTOM TLB17F torch ensure long-lasting and comfortable operation. The welding torch features a TLB17F torch body, allowing for welding at a maximum current of 180A at an 80% duty cycle and 200A at a 60% duty cycle. This solution enables the welding of thicker pipes and sheets. The GRIP handle perfectly insulates against high temperatures, while the super-flexible TLBsflex cable allows for comfortable work in challenging conditions.

EWM XQ 230 DC Puls is a digitally controlled inverter welder built on IGBT transistors. It enables TIG DC 230A and MMA welding with a current of 230A. Powered by a single-phase 230V network, the SPOT function allows for joining very thin materials. The welder features an intuitive LCD control panel for quick navigation through all functions.

The device features high efficiency at 40°C ambient temperature:

• 205 A - 60%
• 170 A - 100%

IGBT TRANSISTORS offer a stronger, more concentrated, and stable arc while maintaining lower energy consumption.

230A WELDING CURRENT enables the welding of materials up to 13 mm thick.

SPOTARC - A tack welding function triggered by the torch switch. It provides simple and fast tacking of butt, fillet, and corner joints, as well as pipes with a wall thickness up to 2mm.

SPOTMATIC - This function is designed for executing the smallest possible tack welds. By touching the tungsten electrode and lifting it, an impulse is triggered that performs a tack weld with 100% repeatability. This reduces heat input by 50%, allowing for tacking without deformation and performing hundreds of points without needing to regrind the electrode.

MMA PULSE - Enables pulse welding when using covered electrodes.

SIMPLE PANEL - Every selected function is backlit, making it an ideal solution for both professionals and beginners.

2T-4T MODES - Welding modes for different joint lengths. In 2T mode, the arc extinguishes when the switch is released. 4T mode allows for continuous welding without holding the trigger constantly; a second click extinguishes the arc.

PRE-GAS ensures faster arc ignition at the start. Adjustable from 0.5 - 5 s.

POST-GAS protects the weld joint and the tungsten electrode during cooling. Adjustable from 0.0 - 20 s.

PULSE enables the welding of very thin steel and stainless steel. Pulsation reaches a frequency of up to 20kHz.

MULTI-CONTROL - The device supports UP&DOWN torch regulation and foot pedals for seamless current adjustment during the welding process.

The TIG CUSTOM TLB17F torch in the GU (1m Leather - Rubber) version is a lightweight, super-flexible torch for welding in all positions. The precision switch and the ultra-flexible TLBsflex cable ensure maximum comfort, even when using the "walking the cup" technique on pipes. The cable remains flexible even in low temperatures.
